Fly south west from Prince Rupert, along the beautiful BC coast and over Porcher Island and Chatham Sound to Kitkatla. A very scenic trip.
Return via Hunt's Inlet / Porcher Island.
Hike along 4 kms of trails, through the local rain forest, to one of our local secrets: the foaming "Butze Rapids", a naturally occuring tidal rapids that reverses every time the tide changes. View moss covered trails, stunted muskeg pine trees and gigantic cedar trees, along with a variety of animals and birds.
Take an alternate flight route home from Kitkatla, via Ogden Channel, Oona River, Grenville Channel and over Port Edward to arrive at Seal Cove by the backdoor route.
Fly south from Prince Rupert to Hartley Bay, over the mountains, parallel with the Grenville Channel and circling over Hartley Bay. Majestic mountains, deep valleys and beautiful coastal areas make for an unforgettable flight. We don't land at this time but continue on to Klemtu
Fly south from Hartley Bay to Klemtu, stopping in Klemtu. Visit the Long house / cultural centre which is a one of a kind experience. Majestic totems, ample seating, a gravel dancing area and a fire pit are found inside the Long house and show the grand scale of the local celebrations.

Fly from Klemtu to Shearwater, Bella Bella and return to Prince Rupert over the coastal inlets. The area is very rugged and extremely beautiful.
The oldest standing cannery village on the B.C. coast is on Inverness Passage in the District of Port Edward. Come spend a day exploring this very special village and have an excellent lunch at the Salmon House Restaurant. If you would like lodging, rooms are available at the Waterfront Inn.
